Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army’s Commandos Division(Danab) preempted suicide car bomb being prepared at group’s base, Tora-torow area in lower Shabelle region after taking well planned operation against the enemy, Al-Shabaab militants this Monday morning, SONNA reported.
Al-Shabaab militants prepared a car filled with explosive and the suicide bomber who would do that job, but our special forces prevented it by killing the terrorist and exploding the car safely on spot this morning according to Army Chief of Somali National Army, Odowa Yusuf Rage.
He said the forces got intelligence report about the group’s intention and the car with dangerous explosives that they were going to take to the capital Mogadishu and massacre our people with suicide car bomb attack, but the army foiled it luckily and successfully.
The Somali Commandos often take a quick action against terrorists planning evil acts to our people, in their strong-holds like Tora-torow today.
