Somali Cabinet endorses the Draft bill of Independent National Electoral and Boundaries Commission

Mogadishu, (SONNA) - During an extraordinary Cabinet meeting convened tonight by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre pivotal decisions were reached. The Cabinet unanimously endorsed the Draft Bill for the establishment of the Independent National Electoral and Boundaries Commission. Additionally, a resolution was issued to enhance the management of weapons and ammunition, ensuring alignment with the National Security Plan and international standards.
