SNA, International partners kill 30 Al-Shabaab terrorists in the Lower Shabelle

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army and the international partners conducted operations in Jilib-Marka and killed 30 Al-Shabaab militants including ringleaders early Saturday morning in the Lower Shabelle region.

The Somali armed forces targeted an area where the terrorist militants were gathering, and seized weapons and ammunition from the group, SONNA Reported.

The SNA and the international partners also conducted operations in Farah-Adan in Harardhere district in Mudug region last night.

The General Secretary of Harardhere district Maslah Moalim told SONNA that the operations killed leaders of the Al-Shabaab terrorists.

The army are in pursue of the terrorists who were hiding in other areas, praising the people for supporting the army and sending messages against terrorism.

The second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin in the Southwest areas as the president of the Federal Republic announced.
