Mogadishu (SONNA): The 27th Division of Somalia’s National Army (SNA) conducted a military operation in the villages near Balcad town in the Middle Shebelle region, SONNA reported.
The Military operation, led by General Salah, commander of the 27th Division of the Somali National Army and other officials, said the SNA forces had taken control of several areas near Balcad town, resulting in the killing of 28 Al-Shabaab militants during the operation.
This comes as SNA conducting intensified military operations to eradicate Al-Shabaab militants from the region.
