Baidoa, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who is in Baidoa for a reconciliation process said that the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorist’s second phase for elimination will begin in the Southwest region of Somalia.

“All the Somali people have one enemy and it is the Al-Shabaab militants, they kill men, women, children, elderly and every Somali person, and the government has set plans to eradicate the terrorists and its first phase is in its final stages, and second phase will begin in Southwest State of Somalia”, President Hassan Sheikh said.

The President said that we must unite all our efforts in order to liberate our nation from the terrorist militias that are draining the people’s blood, they are a threat to the economy of the people and the roads are blocked all due to their terror.

“If the roads connecting Mogadishu to Baidoa are cleared and all the terrorists removed and then no blockade will be allowed because we shall eradicate all the Al-Shabaab militants and make it safe for the people”, President Mohamud said.
