Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalan Abdi Ali (Dhaay), presided over a meeting focused on advancing the government’s efforts to deliver diverse social services to the public. The meeting addressed key initiatives within the Social Development Pillar of the government.
The gathering was attended by ministries and agencies working in social affairs and featured reports on human capital development and strategies to enhance public services. Ministries of Health, Education, and Youth shared updates on their respective progress and plans to improve service delivery nationwide.
Mr. Abdisalan emphasised the critical importance of the Social Development Pillar in advancing the Somali nation. He directed the relevant ministries to accelerate efforts to ensure the government’s services reach the population effectively, aligning with the National Development Plan.
