Mogadishu(SONNA)-At least four people including a woman were confirmed dead and three, two of them seriously injured after a roadside bomb attack in Daynile district in Mogadishu today on Monday, SONNA reported.
Terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab intended to kill Mahad Sharawe, Secretary of Daynile District, west of Mogadishu, but survived, and caused casualties on innocent civilians nearby.
He said the bomb was a landmine blast managed with remote control, confirming that he was safe and sound, but witnessed the dead of four people and the wounds of three others at scene.
” The bomb hit into my car, I am safe and sound, only one of my security staff sustained minor injuries, I have seen four people killed and two others with heavy wounds excluding my body guard”, Mr. Sharawe told reporters.
He added that all the victims were of business persons and passers by at the time of attack.
