Prime minister Khayre chairs the Anti-Terrorism meeting in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (SONNA) The Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayre chaired today a meeting to discuss the ongoing preparations to launch large-scale military operations to liberate the few remaining areas controlled by al-Shabaab terriorst group on Wednesday. SONNA Reported

This meeting was attended by the Minister of Finance, the State Minister at the Ministry, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Defense, the leaders of the national army and Police.

During this meeting, the prime minister urged all the top-government officials who were present at the meeting and the government institutions that are part of the plan, to speed up the efforts to prepare the military operations, to fully succeed in liberating the country from the terrorists.

Moreover, the meeting also touched on the development plans to provide basic services to the local  community in the recent liberated territories.

On the other hand,the officials who attended the meeting pledged to strive fully to execute the Anti terrorism plan to liberate the few remain territories from Al-Shabaab militant group as quickly as possible and provide the government development projects and services to the local community.

This meeting was held at the National Police headquarters.
