Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister if the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre received in his office the Acting Special Representative of the United Nations to Somalia, James Swan and discussed strengthening the cooperation between the UN and Somalia.
The Prime Minister thanked the United Nations for supporting the Government and the people of Somalia in the areas of humanitarian, social development and stabilising the recently liberated areas.
The Envoy thanked the PM for the warm welcome and assured that the UN will support Somalia and work closely with the government.
