Dar-e-Salaam, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, who is participating in the African Human Capital Head of State Summit in Tanzania, held a meeting with the Vice President of the World Bank in charge of East and Southern Africa, Victoria.
The meeting discussed the strengthening of collaboration between Somalia and the World Bank, while the Prime Minister thanked the World Bank for the projects to support the Somali people.
The Vice President praised the Somali government for the progress made in the field of security and fighting corruption, saying that the Bank is ready to support Somalia in the topic currently being discussed at the Summit on the development of social capacity in the fields of education and how to create opportunities for Somali youth.
The government of Somalia has made significant progress in the country’s economic system and is now hoping that Somalia will complete the debt relief process by the end of this year.
