Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre met with the Chinese Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing, and thanked him for his efforts in promoting peace and development in the Horn and expressed appreciation for China’s unremitting support for Somalia.
From his side, Amb Xue reiterated China’s commitment to continue its support for Somalia in its journey towards stability and reconstruction.
Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
