Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre chaired a meeting discussing the security situation of the country, elimination of the Al-Shabaab terrorists and how to strengthen security forces of the capital.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defence, the acting Minister of Internal Security, the Commanders of the Army and the Police, the Director of NISA, the Attorney General and the Governor of Banadir and the Mayor of Mogadishu.
The discussions focused on strengthening the security of the capital in the month of Ramadan because the terrorist militants target the civilians who are performing their religious duties.
The Prime Minister urged the security agencies to be vigilant in these days where the people are fasting and make sure that no one comes to harm because of the militants.
Prime Minister Hamza pointed out the importance of eradicating the Al-Shabaab terrorist militants from Somalia to his government and to stop them from shading the bloods of the Somali people.
