Mogadishu (SONNA)-The prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia H.E Mohamed Hussein Roble met with top officials from Banadir administration in a crises meeting. The Prime minister said he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives due to the heavy rains in the capital. 3 residents lost their lives in an overnight rains damaging their properties in the process.
The prime mister pointed out some of the roads were rendered un usable due to the heavy rains. He called on the Banadir officials to immediately respond to the blocked roads. traffic has been greatly affected as floods have completely cut off some of the major roads.
Similarly, the premier urged the officials to help the internally displaced people living in camps who were hardest hit by the heavy rains. The prime minster said their belongings were washed away and the structures they live in were severely damaged.
Finally, the prime minister said the residents of Mogadishu pay tax and they need to get services from the government.
