Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the former President of Somalia, H.E Sharif Sheikh Ahmed at the Presidential Palace (Villa Somalia), on Tuesday.
President Hassan shared the situations of the country including the fight to eradicate terrorism, the struggle of the Somali people, the struggle of the Army and the need to deliver government services to the recently liberated area.
The former President applauded the work of the Government and the people, and the show of oneness in fighting for this nation, and he thanked the President for the warm welcome. “I wish unity and prosperity for the government and the people of my country… Somalia”, he added.
