Kuwait, [SONNA] — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, embarked on a condolence visit to Kuwait, where he conveyed a heartfelt message of condolences from the people and the Federal Government of Somalia following the passing of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
President Mohamud, representing the sentiments of the Somali nation, shared the condolences during a meeting with the Emir of Kuwait, Mr. Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The visit is part of a broader expression of solidarity with Kuwait during this period of mourning.
The President, who is among several Arab leaders attending the condolences for the late Emir, expressed his condolences to the Prime Minister and the Council of Emirs during interactions at the condolence ceremony.
