Mogadishu, SONNA – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of the revered scholar, Sheikh Mohamed Sheikh Abdullahi Sheikh Ibrahim Bardhere. In a heartfelt message, President Mohamud extended his deepest condolences to the family, relatives, scholars, and the entire Somali nation.
President Mohamud lauded Sheikh Mohamed as a distinguished scholar who significantly contributed to the dissemination of Islamic teachings and the enhancement of knowledge within the Somali community. “We must pray for God’s mercy upon the late Sheikh Mohamed. He was an invaluable scholar who played a pivotal role in spreading Islam and elevating the knowledge and awareness of our community,” stated President Mohamud.
The President also prayed for the deceased to be granted Jannatul Firdowsa and for patience and faith to be bestowed upon his family and the Somali community during this time of mourning.
