Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Mohamed Hussein Roble chaired a weekly Cabinet meeting in which key issues related to the country’s situation, politics, security & elections were discussed.
The Council condemns the failed coup attempt on 27 Dec against the HQ of Council of Ministers & Office of the PM.
The Council also thanked the Somali people and the international community for their support and the Prime Minister’s leadership on electoral matters.
The Council of Ministers approved a plan to reactivate the Joint Security Forces for Mogadishu stability which was previously approved by the Cabinet on the recommendation of the Ministry of Internal Security. Cabinet Subcommittee has instructed Security Plan as a matter of urgency.
