Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, held a consultative meeting this evening with women working across various federal government institutions in Somalia.
The meeting, which holds significant importance for the “DanQaran” administration led by Prime Minister Hamza, focused on empowering Somali women to enhance their roles in promoting security, advancing development, and contributing to nation-building efforts.
The speech of the Prime Minister also included praise for the Puntland Darawish forces, acknowledging their extensive operations against ISIS-affiliated Daesh militants in the Bari region. He emphasized the Federal Government’s commitment to providing full support to Puntland in ensuring the complete eradication of militant threats and strengthening the nation’s security.
This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to inclusivity and the active participation of women in shaping Somalia’s future, while also highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening national stability and progress.
