Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Yusuf Mohamed Adan officially launched the Somali National Job Portal—a digital platform to enhance employment opportunities and strengthen Somalia’s labor market.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in addressing unemployment and creating a more structured and accessible job market for Somali job seekers. The platform aims to connect job seekers with employers, provide training and volunteering opportunities and facilitate a more transparent and inclusive labor market.
Government officials and international partners praised the initiative, recognizing its potential to bridge employment gaps and contribute to a more resilient labor sector in Somalia.
