Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Abdullahi Mohamed Nur, tweeted a congratulatory message to the Somali Police Force on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the formation of the Somali Police Force.
“Congratulations to all Somali Police officers, their children, and their wives,” said Mr. Abdullahi Mohamed Nur.
It was in 1943 when the Somali Police Force war formed, which is considered as the oldest Somali force. The formation was necessary for the Somali state at that time to become part of the international community.
More congratulatory messages are being sent all over the country by officials wishing for the 78th anniversary to the Somali Police Force.
