Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Family Affairs and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, Khadijo Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, hosted a delegation from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) at her office today. The delegation was led by Manuel M. Pereira, IOM’s Chief of Mission in Somalia.
The meeting, attended by the ministry’s Director-General, Mohamed Bashir Omar, and other senior officials, focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and IOM. Minister Al-Makhzoumi expressed gratitude for IOM’s ongoing partnership in supporting family welfare, human rights, and social development initiatives in Somalia.
