Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdullahi Bidhaan had a crucial meeting with water companies in Mogadishu. The focus was on Strategising ways to guarantee clean, affordable and reliable water for the capital city and its environs.
During the meeting, Minister Bidhan underscored the necessity for companies to merge, enhancing operational efficiency and service provision. The Ministry stands ready to support capacity building efforts, ensuring the Somali people’s right to clean and safe water.
Representatives from Mogadishu’s water service companies, convened under the DAHAB cooperative, expressed gratitude for the Ministry’s unwavering dedication to public health. They pledged 2 collaborate towards merging the companies, forming a unified force for water accessibility
