Mama Sarah Obama will be buried tomorrow at her home in Kogelo.
Sheikh Musa Ismail Haji, Chairman of the Kisumu Muslim Association, said she will be buried according to Muslim religious customs tomorrow morning (March 30).
Mama Sarah, who died at the age of 99, was Muslim.
She had been sick for a while and succumbed to illness at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu on Monday, March 29.
“Mama has not died of Covid-19 related issues and we want to clarify that she has been sick for some time,” said Sheikh Musa.
