Mogadishu(SONNA)-Hishabelle State President, Ali Abdullahi Husein held meeting with commanders of the Somali National Army based in Bal’ad district in Middle Shabelle and discussed key issues mainly the security and reduce Al-Shabaab threat in the region.
The President urged the local authorities and SNA chiefs to mobilize local forces and speed up the ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab and ensure the safety and security of main raod linking the capital to Jowhar.
“Our goal is to eliminate Al-Shabaab from the road connecting Jowhar to Balcad, as this road is vital for our economic development”, Hirshabelle State President said on X Monday.
