Mogadishu (SONNA) – Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Mohamed Abdirasak Mohamud had a constructive meeting with the President of the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly HE Volkan Bozkir, SONNA reported.
The Minister briefed the President on the achievements of the Somali government and its progress in the areas of politics, security and infrastructure.
For his part, HE Volkan Bozkir thanked the Minister for his visit and promised to redouble their support for the United Nations in Somalia.
The foreign minister of Somalia is currently in the United States of America where he met with various officials to discuss the situation in the country.
