1- The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has officially opened the conference on the process of preparing Somalia’s century vision in 2060.
2- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has attended the 23rd summit of the East African Community in Arusha.
3- Somalia has officially become one of the member countries of the East African Community (EAC), becoming the 8th member of the organization.
4- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has opened the 4th session of the of the two chambers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
5- President Hassan Sheikh has attended an event to reward the committees and senators of the Upper House of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
6- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held meetings regarding the consultations on the country’s political journey with some of the youth, scholars and leaders of the Somali civil society.
7- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has appointed MP Omar Ibrahim Hashi as the Special Envoy for Stabilization and Protection of Civil Affairs.
8- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in his speech in parliament noted that the government is committed to liberating the country as a whole from the Kharijites Al Shabab in order to achieve complete security and stability.
9- The Speaker of the House of the People His Excellency Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobe) has officially launched in Baydhabo the official script of the May dialect of the Somali language.
10- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre was been welcomed to Kismayo where he started an official tour in Jubbaland State.
11- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has opened a branch of the Central Bank of Somalia in Kismayo.
12- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, together with the President of the Jubbaland State, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, laid the foundation stone for a 4KM road in Kismayo, connecting some of the city’s neighborhoods.
13- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre held a meeting with various sections of the community living in Kismayo, urging them to play a vital role in the fight to eliminate the Kharijites, which will soon begin its second phase in Jubbaland.
14- The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, together with the President of the Jubbaland State, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, cut the ribbon on the construction of the new headquarters of the Ministry of Health of the Jubbaland State.
15- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has launched three projects in Kismayo that are related to sustainable solutions and poverty alleviation to be implemented in Jubbaland and South West states.
16- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre inspected the various departments of the General Hospital in Kismayo.
17- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, together with the President of the Jubbaland State Government, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, visited the Luglow area where the people displaced by the floods are staying, and the outskirts of Yoontoy, one of the areas that were closed by the flood.
18- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre chaired a conference on the preparation of world climate issues for COP28 which will open on November 30 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
19- Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre congratulated the Chairman of Hormuud Telecom Company, Mr. Ahmed Mohamud Yusuf, who won the medal for the leaders of international telecommunication companies who worked in the development of communication and technology in their countries.
20- The leaders of the countries of the East African Community EAC have congratulated the government and the people of Somalia for joining the organization as Somalia becomes a full member on the 24th of this month.
21- The United Nations Office in Somalia has sent warm congratulations to the Somali government and people for joining the East African Community.
22- The former Prime Ministers of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, Omar Abdirashid, Ali Mohamed Geeddi and Hassan Ali Kheyre congratulated the Somali people for joining the East African Community.
23- The Minister of Information of Somalia Mr. Daud Aweys said that joining Somalia in the East African Economic bloc has economic and business benefits for Somalia.
24- The National Army and local forces killed six members of the Kharijites Al Shabab militants after a military operation in the Budbud area.
25- The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (HDRS) has awarded Freedom Airlines the Airline Security Program certificate, after the company has met all the required requirements.
26- The Minister of Education Mr. Farah Abdulqadir said that in the year 2024, their plan is to provide free training to 10 thousand teachers in order to spread education in the country.
27- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, Abshir Omar Jama Huruuse and the Minister of African Development of the UK Andrew Mitchell signed an agreement paving the way for full cooperation between the two countries in the fields of security, economy, good governance and aid.
28- The Minister of Information of Somalia H.E. Daud Aweis has participated in the International Forum on Controlling the Role of the Press in Inciting and Hate Messages in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
29- The Shabelle River has flooded parts of Buoloburde district in Hiran region.
30- Somalia and the United Arab Emirates signed an agreement to build water wells in the areas liberated from the Kharijites Al Shjabab.
31- Jubaland has provided assistance to the people of Afmadow District in Lower Jubba region who have been affected by the rains and floods.
32- The chairman of the National Disaster Management Agency, Mohamud Maallim Abdulle, said that 96 people have died since the floods hit the country.
33- The Russian government is sending a 25,000-ton ship to Somalia as part of humanitarian aid to help Somalia .
34- The Commander of the Armed Forces General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhudin held a meeting with the Military Affairs Officer of the Turkish Government in Somalia.
35- The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs released a list of 72 companies that have won providing the Hajj services.
36- The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Somalia, MP Yusuf Mohamed Adan, signed the international law for work places protection for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baku in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
37- Ali Maqane and Ahmed Ali Gadaf, who were among the elders who worked with the Kharijites Al Shabab in the central regions, have surrendered to the Somali National Army.
38- The Chairman of the National Disaster Management Agency, Mohamud Macallin Abdulle, received a donation of about 140 thousand US dollars from the Chinese Embassy in Somalia.
