1- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has participated in a Town Hall Meeting held Mogadishu in which citizens asked questions about the activities, performance, progress and tasks of the government.
2- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the World Food Program, and discussed on the development of Somalia’s food programs, the support provided by WFP, and addressing the challenges posed by climate change on food security.
3- The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, announces new cheaper prices for Somali pilgrims to the Hajj, adding that the new prices will see more than 8 million dollars being saved comparing to the expensive prices of last year.
4- The Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has attended the launch of the Joint Operational Roadmap between the Federal Government of Somalia and the EU, which paves the way for a renewed focused engagement that translates mutual priorities and delivered much needed focus on depth & impact for the benefit of the Somali people
5- The Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Saleh Ahmed Jama has attended the launch ceremony of the historical event of Somalia Population & Housing Census.
6- The Federal Government of Somalia has facilitated the return of hundreds of Somali citizens who were stranded in Sudan conflict.
7- The Federal Government of Somalia has also recently appointed a ministerial committee to coordinate the rescue of its citizens stranded in Sudan conflict.
8- The FGS Cabinet approves the appointment of the new Accountant General of the Government, Abdirahman Mohamed Anas.
9- Somalia welcomes Troops Contributing Countries (TCC) summit communique issued in Uganda which outlined the reduction of ATMIS forces and the readiness of Somalia to take over its security at the end of next year 2024.
10- The Somali National Army conducted a successful operation in Ali Qabobe area of Mudug region, killing members of Kharijites Al Shabab.
11- The Banadir Regional Administration says it will increase operations to fight the use and the sale of narcotics in Mogadishu.
12- The Minister of Health of the Federal Government of Somalia Dr Ali Haji Aden has handed over medical supplies to the Federal Member State, the move is part of the Federal Government of Somalia’s plan to provide basic and effective health services in the country.
13- Somalia’s Minister of Finance, Dr Elmi Mohamud Noor, has attended the annual meeting of the financial institutions of Arab countries in Morocco, at a time when Somalia is making great progress in the reform of the economy and the implementation of the debt relief program.
14- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Abshir Omar Jama, held a virtual meeting with the Somali community in Minnesota, USA in which he briefed on the performance and progress of the government, as well as the government’s diaspora policy.
15- The National Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has provided assistance to families affected by the heavy rains in Mogadishu.
16- The police forces of Banadir Region have seized Al Shabab suspect Hassan Ali Nur with explosives.
