As a frontline country in the climate crisis, we are committed to advancing our national priorities on unlocking climate finance, addressing loss and damage, and the exchange of expertise and innovative solutions for climate adaptation.
The Deputy PM joined, H.E. Abdullatif J. Rashid, President of Iraq, and H.E. Prosper Bazombanza, Vice President of Burundi at COP29 World Leaders Climate Action Summit, discussing accelerating Climate Finance to bolster resilient agri-food systems in fragile and conflict-affected nations like our countries, organized with the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
