Nairobi, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Salah Ahmed Jama gave a speech at the Africa Climate Summit which was hosted in Kenya.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that Climate change knows no borders, and it is crucial that we tackle it together.
“We need to see an acceleration of finance for critical climate adaption to fund both public and private investments that can mitigate the damaging effects of climate to the most vulnerable”, he added.
At Africa Climate Summit, Deputy PM Salah called for more finance to support climate adaptation in vulnerable countries. He praises the government’s proactive measures to tackle climate change.
