Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Dr. Ahmed A. Adan received a relief shipment from the Turkish Red Crescent, taking their part in the rescue of the people affected by the torrential rains and river overflow floods.
The Deputy Commissioner vowed that the donation will be distributed to those affected by the flash flood and displaced.
The donation which was brought by the Turkish Red Crescent consists of several types of food to solve the basic needs of the poor people.
Dr. Ahmed expressed his gratitude to the Turkish Red Crescent and to the people of Turkey for the supportive donation.
