Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdikadir Mohamed Nur Jama received at the Ministry German Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Amb. Heiko Nitzschke.
The meeting focused on the operations and elimination of the Al-Shabaab terrorists, the ATMIS operation handover, moving to the new mission of African Union Stabilisation Support Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) and ensuring the security of the country.
The meeting also discussed the security situation of the Horn since Ethiopia preached the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia and the unity of Somalia and its peoples and their national independence.
