Mogadishu (SONNA):The Chinese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Somalia has sent a congratulatory message to the management and staff of the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) on the 58th anniversary of its establishment.
“Congratulations to SONNA for the 58th anniversary of its foundation. The Chinese Embassy will continue to facilitate media exchanges between China and Somalia.” The Chinese embassy said in a tweet
The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) is state-run news agency and one of the main sources of news since establishment on the 5th of January 1964.
China and Somalia share a long history of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
