Mogadishu, SONNA – On Wednesday, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyidin, Chief of the National Armed Forces, met with the British Ambassador to Somalia, Mike Nithavrianakis, to discuss ongoing efforts to strengthen Somalia’s security sector. The meeting focused on several key areas, including the rebuilding of the Somali army and the United Kingdom’s continued support for these efforts.
During the discussions, both parties emphasized the importance of international cooperation in enhancing the capabilities of the Somali Armed Forces.
