Mogadishu, Somalia – In a regular weekly meeting held today, the Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia presented a comprehensive report on the National Assessment of the fight against terrorism and money laundering. The report highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to halt financial resources previously utilized by Khawarij groups.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, provided updates on the country’s security situation and celebrated the significant achievements of the armed forces in combating terrorist activities. Additionally, the session included discussions on the National Transformation Plan (NTP 2025 – 2029), which aims to further strengthen the nation’s security and development initiatives.
