MOGADISHU, Somalia – The BandhiggaGuulaystayaasha Soomaaliyeed (BGS) forum, hosted by Hormuud, Somalia’s premier telecommunications firm, is gearing up for its annual event on September 10, 2024, at the Sahal venue in Mogadishu.
This year’s forum, themed “Fintech in Somalia: Challenges, Opportunities & Future Prospects,” will delve into how financial technology can catalyze economic development in one of Africa’s most challenging economic landscapes.
The BGS forum, a cornerstone for private sector dialogue in Somalia, will assemble a spectrum of participants including business magnates, government officials, academic experts, and innovative entrepreneurs.
