Mogadishu(SONNA)-Benadir Regional Court has on Monday concluded a case related to terrorist network and sentenced four sympathizers who were involved in financing and collecting money into accounts to fines and prison terms between two to 13 years.
Chairperson of the Court, Salah Ali Mohamud announced the verdict and said that the man, Hassan Osman Aden was given to serve 13 years in prison and fined to pay 20’000 dollars while the three women namely Fadumo Hassan Osman, Amina Abudllahi Abbabur and Hasna Aweys Khasim were sentenced to serve two years jail terms each.
The Somali Government is committed to fighting against the terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab in both the raral and urban areas where such terrorist networks would like operate.
