Mogadishu (SONNA) – The mayor of Banadir region, Mr. Omar Mohamud Mohamed Omar Filish, said that rains in the capital of Mogadishu have affected the city’s beauty and landscape saying that some of the main roads in the city were flooded SONNA reported.
While speaking to the press today, the mayor pledged that the citizens in the capital will urgently work together to return up the beauties of the city and making sure the city is more better and particularly urged the sub-mayors of Banadir region and the people to play a major role in cleaning up the town.
The mayor pointed out the plans which are under way to accelerate the development of the capital, and that the Benadir regional administration is committed to work on the capital development, security, peace, cleanliness, restoring the beauty of the capital and giving awareness to the Somali people.
