Speaker of the House of the People Arrives in Djibouti for Official Visit

DJIBOUTI CITY (SONNA) – The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdiqadir Mohamed Nur (Jama), accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, arrived in Djibouti on Sunday for a four-day official visit.

The delegation was received at the airport by the Speaker of Djibouti’s National Assembly, Mr. Dileita Mohamed Dileita, alongside members of the Djiboutian Parliament.

The visit follows an official invitation from his Djiboutian counterpart and aims to strengthen the longstanding relations between Somalia and Djibouti, enhance cooperation between the two parliaments, exchange experiences and advance the shared interests of the two countries and their peoples.

The Speaker is accompanied by the House of the People’s Marshal, MP Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan (Nuux), other members of Parliament and the Secretary-General of the House of the People.
