Somalia Participates in INPDPA Executive Committee Meeting in Türkiye

Istanbul, (SONNA) — The Director General of Somalia’s Data Protection Authority, Mohamed Nur Olow, participated in the second Executive Committee meeting of the Islamic Network for Personal Data Protection Authorities (INPDPA) in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The meeting focused on implementing the network’s regulations, strengthening cooperation among Islamic countries on data protection, sharing expertise and knowledge, and addressing challenges related to emerging technologies and information security.

Olow reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to advancing the network’s objectives and underscored the importance of protecting personal data and citizens’ rights.
