President Hassan Sheikh Attends Hirshabelle Leadership Inauguration in Jowhar

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, on Sunday attended the inauguration ceremony of Hirshabelle State Leader Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlaawe) and other elected state officials in Jowhar, bringing together senior federal and regional leaders.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, Speaker of the House of the People Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, Banadir Regional Governor and Mogadishu Mayor Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), as well as leaders of several Federal Member States.

Among the regional leaders in attendance were Southwest State Leader Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), Galmudug State Leader Liiban Ahmed Hassan and Northeastern State Leader Abdulkadir Aw-Ali Firdhiye. Hirshabelle officials, federal and regional lawmakers, members of the diplomatic community and other distinguished guests also attended the event.

The inauguration brought together representatives of the Federal Government and Federal Member States, underscoring the importance of cooperation among government institutions and regional administrations.
