Somalia, Indonesia Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Education, Fisheries and Blue Economy

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, on Monday received the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Somalia, H.E. T.B.H. Witjaksono Adji, at his office in Mogadishu.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of education, fisheries, the blue economy, and other sectors of mutual interest.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama expressed appreciation to the Government of Indonesia for its continued partnership and the growing ties between the two nations. He reaffirmed the Federal Government of Somalia’s commitment to deepening cooperation and advancing the longstanding friendship between Somalia and Indonesia.
The discussions underscored the shared commitment of both governments to enhance bilateral engagement and explore new opportunities for collaboration that support sustainable development and mutual prosperity.
