Security Minister Inaugurates Federal-State Security Consultation Conference

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartaag), today inaugurated the Federal Government and Federal Member States Security Consultation Conference.
The conference focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination between federal and state-level security institutions to accelerate efforts aimed at enhancing the country’s security, stability and public safety.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Force, Major General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed (Kaniif), along with other senior officials from Somalia’s security agencies.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the Ministry of Internal Security, Mohamed Shire, said the conference is expected to produce key recommendations and decisions aimed at reinforcing security cooperation and unifying efforts to achieve sustainable peace and security across the country.
