Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Senior Advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump on Arab and African Affairs

Cairo, Egypt(SONNA)-H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today met with Mr. Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump on Arab and African Affairs. The two sides discussed strengthening Somalia–United States relations, reaffirming support for Somalia’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, enhancing security cooperation, combating terrorism, and expanding economic cooperation and investment.

They also exchanged views on developments in the Horn of Africa, the security of the Red Sea, and the role of the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) in supporting Somalia’s security priorities. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to regional peace, stability, and continued cooperation in advancing Somalia’s long-term security and development.
