Information Minister Visits Somali Embassy in Cairo

CAIRO (SONNA) – The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdifitaah Qasim Mohamud, paid an official visit to the Somali Embassy in Cairo on Sunday during his working visit to Egypt.

The Minister was received by Somalia’s Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Ali Abdi Aware, and embassy diplomats. He toured various sections of the embassy and commended the Ambassador’s efforts in representing Somalia, safeguarding national interests and strengthening diplomatic relations between Somalia and Egypt.

For his part, Ambassador Ali Abdi Aware thanked the Minister for visiting the embassy and reaffirmed the mission’s commitment to improving services for Somali citizens and promoting Somalia’s national image and interests in Egypt.
