Deputy PM Opens Second Annual Government Coordination Conference on Social Services

MOGADISHU, (SONNA) – The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Jibriil Abdirashid Haji Abdi, has officially opened the Second Annual Government Coordination Conference on Social Services.

In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister said cooperation and coordination between the Federal Government and Federal Member States are central to accelerating social service delivery and implementing the National Transformation Plan (NTP) 2025–2029.

H.E. Jibriil stressed that the Somali people expect tangible government performance and quality services that reach all parts of the country equitably, particularly vulnerable communities.

He urged government institutions to strengthen cooperation, accountability and follow-up on decisions to ensure that plans translate into effective results that positively impact communities.
