Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, received the newly appointed Ambassador of Palestine, Rowaid Adil Mohamed, at his office. The ambassador recently presented his credentials.
The meeting focused on enhancing the fraternal relations between Somalia and Palestine. Prime Minister Barre congratulated Ambassador Rowaid on his new role and reaffirmed Somalia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, particularly their historical right to independence and self-determination. He expressed Somalia’s disapproval of the displacement faced by Palestinians.
In response, Ambassador Rowaid thanked the Federal Government of Somalia for its ongoing support for the Palestinian cause. He acknowledged the deep bonds of brotherhood between the two nations and pledged to work towards strengthening cooperation and ties between their peoples.
