Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Mohamed A. Hayir (Maareeye) who spoke at the farmers association meeting sent a stern warning to the traders who import low-standard seeds, noting that the government will take legal action against them.
This comes as the Ministry recently launched the first-ever agricultural lab in Mogadishu to advance soil testing, pest control, irrigation quality, food safety, and more—paving the way for Somali produce in global markets.
