Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdirizak Ali, and NIRA Director General Abdiwali Abdulle, have today met with UNDP officials at NIRA.
They emphasized the centrality of the ID system to Somalia’s National Transformation Plan, which is currently under development.
Additionally, NIRA departmental officials and advisors gave a detailed presentation to the visiting UNDP team, covering key policies, digital infrastructure, and the significant progress made in implementing the National ID System.
