Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Bihi Iman Egeh together with the Minister of Communications and Technology, H.E Jama Hassan Khalif today launched the East Africa Regional Digital Integration Project.
“Our country is digitally progressing, and we are using our innovation and entrepreneurial capability to move Somalia forward towards sustainable development and growth,” Minister Egeh said.
The Ministry of Communications and Technology is thrilled to announce the official launch of the Eastern African Regional Digital Integration Project (EA-RDIP).
“EARDIP will significantly boost ICT and digital services across Somalia, bridging the digital divide.
Backbone connectivity will be strengthened with the construction of approximately 4,600 km of missing links, benefiting rural and borderland areas,” Minister Khalif said.
