Prime Minister Hamza recieves Ziraat Katilim Bank Leadership from Turkey

SONNA ­- Mogadishu – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, received the office heads of Ziraat Katilim Bank from Turkey, following the recent opening of their new branch in Mogadishu.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre expressed his gratitude to the officials of Ziraat Katilim Bank for their investment in Somalia, emphasizing the positive impact the new branch will have on business relations and economic development in both nations. The Prime Minister underscored the immense business opportunities present in Somalia, highlighting the need for strategic investments that can harness the country’s natural resources for the benefit of the Somali people.

The Prime Minister’s discussions with the CEO of Ziraat Katilim Bank were conducted in the presence of the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Ibrahim M. Yagli. The meeting symbolizes a shared commitment to fortify economic ties and explore opportunities for mutual growth between the two nations, paving the way for a brighter economic future for Somalia.
